Apart from his entry with Barth, Carel was also on the entry list for another works car, the 718 RSK with starting number 26, eventually driven by Von Trips and Bonnier in the 1500 class, and he had entered yet another RSK under his own name, using starting number 32. But he actually only raced the Barth car with number 14.
As Carel and Barth retired, Von Trips and Bonnier got home in seventh place overall, second in class.
